CROW TOES QUARTERLY

There is a forest behind my house. This forest is full of trails and cliffs, which patiently wait for friendly hikers and climbers. Flowers grow in the patches of long grass, and animals with wide eyes scurry from tree to tree. During the day I often find myself strolling through this forest dreaming about the next world I am going to write about, invigorated by all the sights and sounds around me. But I can only do this during the day, for you see, when the sun goes down and only moonlight glows down upon the world, this forest turns into something else, something sinister. It becomes a world of shadows and glowing eyes. It becomes a world of howls and sounds so frightening I have to shut my windows to keep them out. When I look out my window at this forest during the night I get chills and all the hair on my neck stands up straight.

What's inside Crow Toes Quarterly, you ask? Well, all the same things that are in that forest at night are inside Crow Toes Quarterly. It is a place full of fear and wonder, where things aren't afraid to bite. So make sure you have a flashlight before you go in and please, please, be cautious.
